End of Chapter

Hello, everyone. I just logged on to announce my last post on here.

Now don't freak out! I don't mean I'll never use Blogger again. I only mean that I won't be using MCL anymore. It was made during my last year of my life in elementary school. This was made before I re-dedicated my life to Christ. He needs me to go forward. So I am

I made a brand new blog to broadcast this new chapter of my life. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I do. You will find it at http://newlyrestarted.blogspot.com/ It's fully called Fresh New Start. I will post on it from now on

MCL's time has come to an end. I will miss it, but not much. I have other things to do. I hope to see you soon. This is not goodbye. This is hello to a new beginning. Here's to FNS!

Fresh New Start

Hello, all. I know it's been pretty quiet around here for a while. I've just started school, therefore, unable to access my blogs. I've been doing some thinking, and I thought I needed to do a very important post

As you may very well know, I am moving up to Jr. High School this year. This is a big transition for me. My classes are going to be much tougher now. The teachers won't tolerate you not having your assignments in on time. This is a big responsibility for me.

Secondly, during this summer (or possibly sooner), I became addicted to a game on the here on the Internet. It has changed me. I used to not care about that stuff as much. I used to write more. I wrote to not be glued to my computer all the time. But all that's changed.

Third, as I've posted earlier, I have felt I've been drifting away from God. I am going to make more time to spend with Him. I want to live up to my re-dedication.

Basically, I've changed. I'm no longer the girl with paper and a pencil. I'm the girl with a keyboard and a mouse. I am going to try to stay true to my real self: the author-to-be. I am going to watch what I do online and make sure I don't lose sight of my priorities.

So, I'm going to make a brand-new start. I've cleared my browsing history, and moved VFK (the game I'm addicted to) to another part of my bookmarks bar, to where I can't see it very well. I will have a Bible by my side always. So, now, all I have to do is start over on here.

Hello, I'm Miss Cellaneous. And this is my life.

P.S. I will try to get my vacation pictures posted as soon as physically possible. It will be a while, with school and all.

Princess and the Frog 2

Hey, ya'all! I know you're probably wondering what I'm doing up so late. Well, I can't stop thinking about my all-time favorite move: Disney's Princess and the Frog

You all know the story of the Frog Prince, right? An ugly frog asks a fair princess to kiss him, he turns into a prince, and they live happily ever after? Well, in this movie, they tell what happens in between the kiss and the frog turning into a prince

If you've ever seen this movie, you'll probably agree that it is GREAT! And that it was totally worth the risk of experimenting for Disney. Well, I have a few ideas for a sequel to it. The Princess and the Frog 2: Facilier's Return

{start plot one} What if his Friends on the Other Side gave Facilier another chance? What if he was able to capture Naveen and turn him back into a frog to try to repay his debt (therefore, turning Tiana back, too) and all chaos ensues? Tiana must find Naveen before midnight on the morning of their wedding anniversary, or they'll be frogs, and separated forever. Will they kiss before the clock strikes twelve? Or is it happily NEVER after? {end plot one)

{start plot two} What if his Friends on the Other Side gave Facilier another chance? What if he was given the ability to turn back time and keep Tiana from breaking his talisman? What if it all worked? Tiana needs to set things right with the help of Mama Odie, the only one who knows of the pass in time. Will things ever return back to the way they were? {end plot two}

I have been working on those for a while. I even have a mind to start a screenplay of Plot One. But, which one do you think sounds better? Would you like to see time travel or re-capture? I'll put up a survey to see which you like better (even though I doubt seriously anyone is ever going to read this or vote)

Summer Sunshine

Hey, everyone! It's a beautiful and sunny day here in Oklahoma. One of the finest days I've seen in my life (which, isn't saying much, since it hasn't been that long).

This morning, I woke up to a single beam of light coming from  my window. I looked out, and I loved what I saw. All of it was so bright and cheery. I thought "Why should I let a great day like this go to waste?"

So, I wanted to go for a walk around the block. It wasn't any big thing, just to get some fresh air after spending most of my week inside with a computer and a Nook. I got dressed, wrote a note to my mom, cleaned the dirt of my sneakers, and headed out. Only, I wasn't the only one going outside.

My dad saw me because he was in the garage, building pieces of a new dresser. I told him I was going for a walk around the block. He asked exactly where I planned to go. I told him and headed off

It WAS wonderful. The fresh air smelled so good. I felt so free. Like nothing was holding me down. It ended too soon

When I got back, my mom wanted to walk with me. Of course, I couldn't say no to my mom, so we went again. Along the way we had nice chats. It wasn't exactly as I planned, but it was cool.

When we got back, Mutt was up and asked if I wanted to play some ball. I said sure. I LOVE playing basketball. Just something about it is fun. We also played a little baseball. One time, Mutt hit it so hard, it nearly went over the brick fence over to the Crest parking lot!

It was great to have a little fun in the sun. I'm glad I decided to take advantage of a great day. I'll talk to you soon, hopefully with pictures. Bye!

Reasons to Pray

Hey, everyone. I know I promised pictures, but I have to upload them from several different SD cards, and edit certain things from them, and it all takes time. I WILL upload those pictures, just be patient.

I have several tough things going on in my life right now. Please pray for;

  1. My brother injured his nose at football camp the other day. Please pray for healing
  2. My great- aunt just had surgery. Please pray that she'll have a safe recovery.
  3. My aunt complained of stomach pains sometime this week. I'm not sure what happened, but now she's in the hospital. The doctors are testing, but nobody knows what's wrong. Please pray that God will give them knowledge of her illness (if there is any) and that they can medicate it.
Thank you for your prayers. I can't begin to say how thankful I am for all my readers who follow this. I know this isn't as interesting as most things out there right now, but it's something to pass time. Thanks again and God bless you.

See you soon!

Please Pray for Me

Hello and welcome back to MCL. Today, I have some great news. I need you to pray for me because...

A) As you may already know, I've been a Christian most of my life. Recently, though, I've been feeling I've been slipping away from God. So, I'm re-dedicating my life to Him. I'm ready to take the next step on my path of faith. I am setting sail for unchertered waters on a new ship, the U.S.S. Forgiven. But, as long as God is at the helm, I know I'll safely reach shore.

B) My family and I are heading to Branson tomorrow morning! We'll be back on July 2, so you can hope to get pictures around that time. Please pray for safe passage for us. I'll see you soon.

As I begin this new chapter of my life, please pray that the Lord will bless me and put me on the right path.

Good day, and Godspeed.

Toy Story 3

Hey, Howdy, Hey! Gather round, partners. It's time for Woody's Roundup!

You might be thinking What? Has Miss Cellaneous gone nuts? Is this the right blog? I assure you, the entry was all a joke. I got inspired to do it because I just saw Disney-Pixar's new movie, Toy Story 3. It's a hilarious, heartfelt story about love, friendship, and loyalty.

In this new movie, Andy is going to college. His old toys have been collecting dust in the toy box for years. And, several friends have been sold in garage sales. Wheezy, RC, and even Bo Peep, are gone. The remaining toys are worried about what fate has laid ahead of them. They're scared of being thrown away, never to be played with again. But Woody has other ideas.

Woody believes that, deep down, Andy still loves his toys. He wants to make sure he is always there for Andy. So, he hopes that the toys will be moved to the attic, to wait for Andy's kids to find them.

Only, his plans change when a mistake occurs. Andy looks through his old toys, and puts Woody in a box he's taking with him to college. The others, are put in a trash bag. Don't jump to conclusions, now. Andy exits the room, and Woody watches. The toys were being put in the attic!

Along comes a now tween-age Molly, with a box of her old toys that she's donating to Sunnyside Daycare. Andy sees her struggling, puts down his bag, and helps her. The attic door closes.

Mom walks through the hallway with another trash bag. She nearly trips over the bag with Andy's toys. She thinks it's trash, so she puts in on the curb along with the other trash.

Woody rushes to save his friends. When they're safe from the landfill, they see the Sunnyside box and think that daycare would be the best place for them, since they thought Andy was throwing them away. Woody tries to convince them to stay, but they don't listen. They all jump in the box, and Woody is trapped in the back of the van along with them.

Now, the toys are on their greatest adventure yet. They have to escape daycare so that they can get to Andy, who is desperately searching for the toys, leaves for college. They have a lot in their way. Only you can find out what happens in this movie filled with suspense, hugs, laughs and a Mexican Buzz.

I, personally, think the movie was GREAT! Spanish Buzz is hysterical! The whole movie had me laughing and crying all the way through.  My 3-D glasses fogged up at one point! The ending was absolutely priceless. I was so happy for the toys.

I think that Disney- Pixar could make a fourth one if they really tried. Only, if they did, I have one request: PLEASE bring Bo back! I LOVED her. Here's a plot for a possible Toy Story 4:

The closer Buzz and Jessie get, the more Woody misses Bo. What he had with her was irreplaceable. When Bonnie (you'll meet her in 3) comes home from a garage sale, she brings home a surprise guest: Bo! Woody is elated when he sees her. Only, after years at a different home, it changed Bo. She doesn't remember much about her life with Andy. A bell rings when she sees Woody, but she can only remember the times Woody was missing. She can't seem to re-kindle her feelings for Woody, no matter how hard he tries to remind her of what they had together. Can Woody, with help from his friends, help Bo remember the past? Or will she keep pushing it away?

It's Official!

It's finally official: I'm going to Branson!

We are leaving on June 26. We're going to be visiting Silver Dollar City, Laura Ingalls Wilder Home, Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, and so much more.

Along the way, I'll be taking along my trusy camera, hopefully, equipped an average size SD card. I'll be taking pictures of what I do and see and post them on here when I get back.

I should be back around July 1 - 3, so you can expect pictures by that time.

See you later!

Summer

Hey, everyone. As you know, summer is here. That means lots of travelling, visiting family, travelling to visit family, and just vacation in general. I don't have any set-in-stone plans, but I have an idea f what I want to do.

Well, like I said, nothing is positive, but my family and I might be going to Branson, Missouri for a long weekend. It would be fun to go to Frontier City, and ride a few things. I'd love to ride on the Branson Belle. The Branson Belle is a showboat. It's kind of like a dinner theater on the water. I'd also like to just sightsee: to see new things, to learn more to write about, and so much more.

Other than that, I'm going to be watching YouTube, typing up manuscripts, and reading. Since I'm taking Pre- AP English next year, I have to read Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech. I'm not sure what it's even about. Another book I hope to read is Only the Good Spy Young by Ally Carter. It's too exciting to explain right now.

Another thing I'm doing this summer is saving up to buy a Nook eReader from Barnes and Noble. I've done some serious work and research to find what was best for me. I still have eleven weeks to go before I earn enough to afford it. I MIGHT put a countdown clock on one of my blogs, if you'd be interested.

See you!

Club Penguin

Hello and welcome to MCL. You might be wondering, "What in the world is THAT on the page?". Well, consider it a link to the awesome world of Club Penguin, an online game world from Disney.

Club Penguin is an island, whose only inhabitants are penguins. You can log on, make your own penguin, and waddle around and make new friends.

One cool thing about CP, is that you can have a job! After you've been a member of CP for a while, you can apply to be either a secret agent or a tour guide. I'm afraid I can't give much away about what the Secret Agents do. All I can tell you is that they keep the island safe and the penguins happy.

Tour guides do just as implied: give tours! Everyday, new penguins log on to CP. They need someone to show them around and tell them what's what. You can also give tips on what games to play.

When you play games, such as Cart Surfer, Catching Waves, or Hydro Hopper, you get coins, CP's currency. With those coins, you can buy clothes for your penguin, furniture for your igloo, or puffles, the cutest, silliest, sweetest creatures ever. Puffles are the common pets of penguins

One place you have to visit in CP is the Night Club. Now, parents, don't let the name scare you. There is no impression of adult beverages or food at all. The Night Club is where you can hang out with your friends, chat, and dance.

There is so much more fun stuff to tell you, but I don't want to take up to much space or time. Would you rater be reading this, or playing on CP? Click "Play Now" to get started! Waddle On!

Oh, and thanks to Disney's Interactive Studios for making this widget and providing it for online use. Club Penguin, and all aflicates are trademark of Walt Disney Inc.

Spring Cleaning

Hello and welcome back to Miss Cellaneous Life. As you know, it’s been a long winter for my family and me. Well, recently, spring has decided to come about. But, with spring comes spring cleaning. Oh well, it’s life.

Today, we kicked off spring cleaning with our garage. Before today, our garage was awful. It was cluttered, unorganized and sweep-needing. My family realized this, and had us help get head-way into cleaning it.

First, my parents backed their cars out into the street. Next, we moved out our bikes and scooters. We then looked through old junk lying around, filing through to see what to keep and what to throw away. The “throw away” included the soccer ball that I used to play with as a girl.

I decided to start sweeping. The broom I used was rather heavy and large, but I managed.

Soon, my mom and I go to Sonic to get us all drinks. When we return, mutt starts being you-know-what.

One minute, I'm sweeping. The next, I'm sitting down, sipping my drink. Then, Mutt takes a sip of it. Gross!

"Great," I groan, "Now I'm going to have to get a new straw."

About an hour or so later, we all went to Lowe's to look at some shelves to put our stuff on. There's nothing for Mutt or me to do at Lowe's, so we just had to sit there, bored. Occasionally, we bring out Mutt's iPod and play The Game of Life.

While our parents are on another aisle, Mutt says, "We better get something special for putting up with this."

I couldn't have agreed more. We spent, what, two and a half hours there? Finally, our parents agreed on the first thing they looked at.

When we get home, we put this massive thing together. My dad and brother argue about how level it is and how stable it will be. Eventually, we get it all done and it looks very nice. It's maximum weight capacity if 5500 lbs. We put all of our miscellaneous tools and footballs, etc on there.

As for the final result of our clean-up, I say we did a pretty good job. Granted, it wasn't exactly how I had planned to spend my Saturday, but it was cool. I got to enjoy some fresh air of the long-awaited spring I had.

So, if you ever complain about spring cleaning, think about this post and my post on chores. We have to do it so we can stay healthy and safe at home. Plus, it gives you a feeling of accomplishment. I feel like I did something big.

Until next time... tot zeins.

Fun With Family

Hello and welcome to Miss Cellaneous Life. I haven't written in a while because I've been busy with choir rehearsal, choir concert, school work, etc. But, rest assured, I am back to write for you!

Recently, I've had fun times with family. Five days ago, we were running errands. We were at Wal-Mart when it all started. We joked and teased and laughed all through our time there.

Next, we were at Braum's. Guess who was there, having lunch? My grandmother, and my great uncle and aunt. We sat down and chatted for a while. Friendly tip (and I'll tell more about this in Annoying Brother Antics ): Never let your gaze leave my great uncle and brother when they're together, because they'll get into a heap of mischief.

The next day was Sunday. We had my grandmother, great uncle and aunt over for lunch. We had wonderfully comedic chats. In the middle of the meal, I got up to refill my tea glass. After I sat back down, I paid all my attention to our conversation, and therefore didn't see it when my dad swapped my full tea glass with his empty one. I saw the empty glass and thought I had drank all I had had already, and got up and filled it. When I sat back down, my dad bust out laughing. He explained he had pulled the same trick he used on my mom years ago on me! I kicked myself for being so gullible that I fell for the trick I had heard the story behind before.

Well, that was my Funny Family Weekend. I feel blessed to have a God who would provide me with such an amazing family. Family is one of my favorite parts of life. Until next time... arrivederci!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland of Fun

Hi! Welcome back to Miss Cellaneous Life. It's very cold over here where I am, along with snow, ice and sleet.

Thursday it started up. I was out of school. I was amazed that it snowed two months in a row. My family and I celebrate it with hot cocoa, and snow ball fights. My brother and I LOVE going out into the snow. We horse around, make snow angels, and admire what ice has done around our house.

Today, my brother and I went outside and started playing in the backyard. My dad took pictures of us the whole time. After a while, he joined us in the front yard. He suggested we build a snowman. Mutt, (My bro.) gave up after a minute or so. I made this HUGE piece for my first snowman. It was my first because we don't get enough snow a lot of the time.

Soon, my mom came out to join us. She snuck up on dad and threw a snowball at him. Then, she started making a mound for our snowman. Then, I put my piece on top of that. Mom put a medium sized ball on that. And finally, we put an even smaller part on that for the hat. My brother used raisins for the eyes, mouth, and button. A picture of the final result is above, to the right.

Well until next time.... tot ziens!

Miss Cellaneous: Author-in-Training

Hello and welcome back to Miss. Cellaneous Life! Today, I'll be talking about what I do as about a quarter of my living, along with being a sister, going to school, and being a Baptist.

I am a young author. I've written many stories, and have sent two of my pieces to a writing contest here in my home state. I write short stories, and recently have made three of them a "book" because they made up a series. I first started writing around August, 2008. My father encouraged me to do it, so I did.

Writing is my past time. Most days, after school, I do my homework, then get on my computer and type till my dad comes home. I write especially when I get inspired at school. As soon as I get an idea, I write it down on scrap paper so I don't forget.

I know most authors brainstorm first, layout the characters and such like that, but most of the time I go straight to the rough draft, and brainstorm if I get stuck. Recently, I've read and written about spies, spy school, and things of that nature.

I get most my help from my dad, and my English teacher. I consider her an unofficial editor/peer observer. She is a great teacher!

I barely kept myself from salivating when she announced we were going to write fictional narratives for our writing project this month. I was upset at only how limited I was at how long the story could be. Only the fronts of four pieces of paper! I can barely fit any good details or story in only four pages!

Well, that's part of my living as an author. I really hope to one day get published and get on the New York Times Best Seller List. Until next time.... ha det!

Serious Matters

Hello and welcome to Miss Cellaneous Life! Today, I have serious matters to discuss.

Someday this past week, a good friend of mine told me her grandfather was in poor health and most likely wouldn't last to see his upcoming birthday. Just yesterday she called to tell me that the prediction had changed that he wouldn't last the weekend. As it turned out, he didn't. Please pray for my friend and that God would comfort her family throughout this tough time.

Recently, my great great aunt and uncle have been in failing health. He's facing memory loss, and she's having heart problems. This past week they've been in and out of the hospital. Please pray that their health will improve and that God will be with them.

Thank you for reading! Until next time... tot ziens!

Responsibilities cont.

Hello and welcome back to Miss. Cellaneous Life. I am continuing my study on responsibilities.

As I have talked about before, I have a DSi. In fact, I'm typing up this post with it. Before I got this, I had a DS Lite. I lost it, therefore I neglected my responsibility of keeping track of my belongings. I searched high and low for my DS, but in vein until three days later when my dad found it in between the sofa cushions.

Another responsibility is your schoolwork or, in adults' case, work. You need to do your homework, read, and stay in school altogether to go to college and get a job.

Well, t-t-t-t-that's all, folks! See you next time.

The DSi

Hello and welcome back to Miss. Cellaneous Life! Happy New Year! I haven't been able to write a lot recently because of school work, but I'll be out until Tuesday. Today, I'll be talking about my favorite electronic: the Nintendo DSi.

The Nintendo DSi is a video game system, the most advanced of its kind. It has many new features. The screens are bigger, for one. One of my favorite features is the camera. Ok, it isn't as high tech as most other cameras theses days, but it's more than enough for a kid of my age. With the DSi Camera, you can take pictures (obviously) and edit them with eleven different tools. When you're satisfied with your picture, you can upload it on Facebook for everyone to see.

Another new feature is the DSi Sound tool. With the newly upgraded microphone, you can record sounds and edit them to be higher and faster, lower and slower, or higher and slower and lower and faster. There are also other effects that make your sound seem like you're speaking into an electric fan, a tunnel, or like you have background singers singing higher, lower, or at the same pitch. Another effect is that you can make it sound like a bird, or a robot. You can also make your sound like different instruments. If you have an SD card, you can listen to and play with your favorite tunes.

The DSi has updated Internet capability, so you can use the internet, no matter your security settings. With the web browser, you can surf the web and check e-mails with ease.

The last new feature is the DSiWare Shop. This is much like the WiiWare Channel. Here, you use an internet connection to buy and download games, tools, and special features to help you make the most out of your DSi experience.

Well, there you have it. See you next time and Happy New Year!
