Responibility

Yo! Sorry I haven't written in a while, I've been busy with school work. Anyway, I am getting really excited for the Christmas season. Today, I will talk about a trait everyone needs to have: responsibility.

Responsibility means you are in charge of something. For instance, chores are some responsibilities. You can read about that here later. Caring for pets is a responsibility. I don't have pets to be responsible for, but I do have chores to do. I also have another responsibility at school: taking Kindergardeners to their bus lines everyday.

I usually have eight kids to take. Everyday after school I go to their classroom, wait for them to line up, and then we go on. Usually, unless I tell them otherwise before we leave, they RUN! I chase after them and YELL at them to stop, but they never do. They can annoy me sometimes, but it's my responsibility and I love it. You can't easily be mad at those cute faces.

That's all for now! Until next time..... see ya!

Sibling Rivalry

Heya Hiya! Welcome back to Miss. Cellaneous Life. Today, I will talk about something kids don't enjoy. Note:If you're an only child, this will be completely new territory for you.

Sibling Rivalry: It's rough, it's tough, it's annoying, but it's life. As some people might know, I have a brother, and sometimes I wish he would take a long walk off a short pier. We fight a lot, he pushes my buttons, everything imaginable a sibling can do to annoy another sibling. Here's some ways you can not get as angry:

  • Ask yourself, "Is it worth the fight?"
  • Ignore whatever it is the sibling's doing
  • Go straight out and say "Stop"
  • Hide whatever he/she might be stealing in a place he/she would never look for it
  • Read verses from the Bible
These are just some things I do to keep myself from being violent with Mutt (my brother) At the end of the day, he's a good guy. We fight, we yell, we laugh, we cry, but we are family, and we love each other. We enjoy each other's company when we're bored. We both share a love of the hit TV show, Monk, and many other things

There are many pros and cons to having a sibling, but I think the best part is having someone there when no one else is

That's all for now! Until next time... see ya!

Parable of the Prodical's Son

Hello and welcome back to Miss. Cellaneous Life. Today, as you very well may know, is Sunday. And as said in the description, I am going to talk about faith. This week, specifically, will center around my favorite parable: The Parable of the Prodical's Son, or The Parable of the Two Lost Sons.

This parable is found in Luke chapter 15. It starts out with Jesus saying: " There was a certain man who had two sons ". The younger of the two asked the father to give him his share of the property. The father gave it to him. Later, the son runs off to a distant country and spends all his money on foolish luxury.

When the money was all gone, a famine came over the country. He got hired to feed pigs, but was fed nothing. After he came to his senses he said to himself " What a fool I am! Here I am, starving to death, when most of my father's servants are fed well and have food to spare! I know what I'll do, I'll go to my father and say ' Father, I have sinned against you and against God. I am no longer worthy to be called your son, make me one of your servants. '" so he got up and left

When he was still a long ways away, his father saw him and ran to hug and kiss his son. " My son! He was dead and now is alive again. He was lost but now is found. " He said. " Father, " The son started out " I have sinned against you and God. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. " But the father turned to his servants and said " Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on my son. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Take the fattened calf and kill it. "

Later, the older son heard the music and laughter. He asked a servant what was going on. " Your brother has come. Your father has killed the fattened calf to celebrate " The servant said. But the older son refused to go in. His father pleaded to him. " I have always been here and never have disobeyed you orders. But when this son of yours who ruined you and disrespected you comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him. You have never once given me a goat to have with my friends. " The son complained. His father said. " Because you're always here. All I have is yours. This is a time to be merry, because your brother was dead, but is now alive again. He was lost, but now is found."

But you see, the older son himself was lost. He always did good, but he never repented from his sins. He never thought he did a thing wrong in his life. There will be more rejoicing in Heaven over one sinner who repents than 99 semi-perfect people.

Note: Parables are fictional stories, but that doesn't mean that the whole Bible is fiction. Jesus lived, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross for OUR sins. Because he loves us.

Bye!

Chores

Hey! Welcome back to Miss. Cellaneous Life. Today, I'm going to talk about something we all go through. Before I start, let me say that I really enjoy blogging, and thanks to whoever might read this, for reading my blogs and enjoying it.

Chores: we all have to do them sometime in life. Sometimes, we might not like them, but it's life. Here some examples: Dusting, Vacuuming, Mopping, Sweeping, Straightening Up Your Room, etc... I personally hate ALL of these chores, but I have to do them every once in a while, because it's the only thing keeping us from the rats, roaches, and other vermin.

Just today I was mopping. Every Saturday my dad gives my brother and me a job. If I sweep, my brother mops, and vice versa. I hate mopping, because when the floors are wet, it feels creepy when I walk on them.We all vacuum our rooms. It's a pretty easy job. I like it because the roar of the vacuum keeps my brother from hearing me sing. (he hates hearing me sing, but I have a beautiful voice, I've been told) Dusting, we don't do very often. There's dust everywhere here in my room. My grandmother is always disgusted by it, because she is convinced that dust is a main cause of sickness. I think that may or may not be true.

These are all example of chores my family must do to keep us happy, healthy, and vermin free. We might not like chores, but it's life, we have to do them. Just think of the allowance you get when you do these chores and all the cool things you can get as a reward for helping your parents organize the house. Until next time, ciao!
